Haunted Downtown Jacksonville is a community effort to raise funds for Onslow Women's Center.
Last year Haunted Downtown Jacksonville brought in over $8,700 in ticket sales and donations that benefitted the Onslow Women's Center.
Haunted Downtown Jacksonville is an all-volunteer organization made up of people who enjoy putting on this event while raising money for a needy non-profit organization. None of the actors, make-up artists, or staff are paid or compensated for their participation in the event. We truly just want to make the event successful each year, allowing us to give something back to our community.
The Trail of Terrors, the main attraction, will run for five nights at 100 Recreation Lane at Jacksonville Commons, on the Challenge Course, from 7pm until the last guest is through.
Saturday evening, October 18, we will host Family Night at the Jacksonville Commons baseball field. This event provides fun for the entire family. Family night features a movie in the park (bring your chairs), free children's games, a variety of contests for children and adults, storytellers, Halloween photo opportunities, and Trunk or Treating.
