Haunted Downtown Jacksonville is a community effort to raise funds for Onslow Women's Center.
In 2012, Haunted Downtown Jacksonville brought in over $8,000 in ticket sales and donations that benefitted two local non-profit agencies. Each evening we doubled our attendance at the Haunted House.
Haunted Downtown Jacksonville is an all-volunteer organization. None of the actors, make-up artists, or staff are paid or compensated for their participation in the event. We truly just want to make the event successful each year, allowing us to give something back to our community.
The Haunted House, the main attraction, will run for five nights and will be located at 211 Drummer Kellum Rd. The Haunted House is $8 per person and there will be no refunds for any reason. The Haunted House opens once the area is spookily dark... around 8pm each evening.
Saturday evening beginning at 4:30pm we will host Family Night, which provides free fun for the entire family. Family night features a movie in the park (bring your chairs), free children's games, a variety of contests for children and adults, storytellers, Halloween photo opportunities, and Trunk or Treating at Kerr Street Park in downtown Jacksonville.
